Job title: National Sales Manager - CHAUVET® DJ
Job location: Sunrise, FL 33351
Classification: Fulltime, Exempt, Salaried
The National Sales manager is held directly responsible for the overall performance of the CHAUVET® DJ Division USA sales.
Job Requirements: include the following essential duties and responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned.
Establish and reach sales goals, formulate sales strategies and identify and recommend new channels of distribution for CHAUVET® DJ branded products. Prepare, present and periodically update an annual sales forecast and supporting budget for submission to the CEO and any other designate of the CEO.
Recommend strategies for penetration into existing or undersold markets and meet ongoing objectives. On-going objectives include growing the entire national sales division, expanding the sales base and increasing market share.
Manage, coach and evaluate an in-house team of territory managers and sales support staff. Recruit, train and oversee a network of independent sales representatives. Conceive and implement internal and on-the-road calling programs. Develop procedures and performance measuring systems to assess on-going sales & marketing programs and initiatives; analyze, review and communicate results in an effective manner. Produce and submit regular performance monitoring and assessment reports, including one (1) annual and three (3) quarterly performance reviews of each national sales department staffer; review, supervise and direct strategic sales plans and forecasts for each territory.
Prepare and implement sales presentations and marketing programs to meet aggressive goals for new and existing business.
Travel extensively and as needed to visit key and prospective customers, attend trade shows.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent professional experience. Minimum of 5 - 7 years sales and management experience in the entertainment lighting industry, with demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills. Must have outstanding client relationship skills, communication and organizational skills, and presentation/sales closing abilities. Proficiency in use of major PC applications including Microsoft Office, CRM 6.0 or higher. Experience with ACCPAC is a plus.

Present and periodically update an annual sales forecast for each division and supporting budgets for submission to the CEO and any other designate of the CEO.
Review, assess and recommend strategies for penetration into existing or undersold markets and to meet ongoing objectives. On-going objectives include growing the entire sales division, expanding the sales base and increasing market share. Review, supervise and direct strategic sales plans and forecasts.
Direct the entire national sales department. Lead, manage and evaluate team efforts. Lead efforts to recruit, train and oversee a network of independent sales representatives. Directly monitor and maintain relationships with key accounts.
Actively participate in the concept and execution of sales presentations and marketing programs.

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent professional experience. Minimum of 7-10 years sales and management experience in the entertainment and/or architectural lighting industry, with demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills. Must have outstanding client relationship skills, communication and organizational skills. Proficiency in use of major PC applications including Microsoft Office, CRM 6.0 or higher. Experience with ACCPAC a plus.
