HOLLYWOOD, FL – CHAUVET® introduced 17 new products at LDI 2009 in a massive 2,400-square-foot, 35-foot tall booth. Among them are an expanded Legend™ series, the new COLORado™ Tour Series, the innovative Q-Spot™ 260-LED, the Intimidator™ Spot XYZ, the SparkliteLED™ Drape, the SkyScan™ 4000 CMY and the Followspot 1200.

The new road-ready Legend™ series expanded line includes the Legend™ 1200E Spot and Wash, and the Legend™ 300E Beam and Spot. These moving yoke fixtures feature FastFit™ and MiniFastFit™ lamps and are made with easily serviceable modular construction. All have electronic ballasts and power supplies to minimize weight.

The Legend™ 8500Z LED moving yoke wash is the first of its kind to offer zoom and RGBWA color mixing in one fixture . The integrated zoom provides a variable beam angle ranging from 8° to 38°. Rich vibrant colors and fast and quiet pan and tilt combined with ease of service and competitive pricing make this fixture a profitable addition to rental inventories and productions of all scales.
The Legend™ 550 Spot moving yoke combines a powerful 575-watt high intensity discharge lamp with precision optics. This dependable fixture moves smoothly and quietly and features a convenient FasTap™ panel on the base of the fixture, greatly easing access when voltage changes are needed.

The CHAUVET® flagship line, COLORado™, expands its commanding stake in the static wash market with new color changers that incorporate features and options requested by top touring professionals. Aptly named COLORado™ Tour , this new range includes PowerCon™ connectors to ease and speed up installation. New fixtures include the COLORado™ 1 Tour, the COLORado™ 1-Tri Tour, COLORado™ 2 Tour, COLORado™ 2VWZ Tour, COLORado™ 3P Tour and the COLORado™ Batten 72 Tour.
Additional LED configurations include tri-color LEDs to eliminate multi-colored shadows, RGBW color mixing to create more precise whites and pastels and RGBWA color mixing for richer washes. The COLORado™ Tour Series also features smoother dimming curves that better match conventional lighting.
