LDI 2007 could well have been renamed LED-I, with the energy-saving diodes replacing halogen and discharge lamps in just about every display at the 3-day tradeshow in Orlando, FL. Nowhere were they more prominent than in the CHAUVET® booth, which showcased LED-fitted luminaires exclusively, under a “Green Thinking” theme aiming at increasing awareness of their environmental benefits. The presentation awed attendees and generated enough buzz among pundits to earn this year’s Big Booth Design Award.
