LEDrain™ 56 Units Up the Ante at Charity Event 4/15/2008Montgomery, Texas - Cory Bean, of Dynamic DJ Productions, utilized 6 CHAUVET® LEDrain™56 units to create mood and atmosphere at a Stewart Creek elementary school fundraiser, prompting the organizer to proclaim what a difference the 6 wash lights made in an otherwise bland room. By controlling the units via DMX controller, Bean was able to match the color scheme of the event with hues of purple and pink during dinner and a silent auction. Later, Bean was able to switch the lights to a linked color-change effect, as participants began filling the dance floor. The fundraiser generates between 60,000 and 70,000 dollars in donations annually, and in previous years paid for new playground equipment, new computers for teachers, and a new computer lab for students. “I chose the LEDrain™56 units because their narrow beam angle makes for more effective up-lighting,” says Bean, who credits Entertainment Systems for a solid product recommendation.
