Back to School with CHAUVET COLORado™ 3

Washington, D.C. - George Washington University’s Fall Fest event culminated with a performance by Grammy-award winning pop-alternative band OK Go on Saturday September 8th, 2007.  The annual back to school concert attracted a crowd of over 2,000 and featured, “a real stage for the first time in Fall Fest history and an artist the students thoroughly enjoyed,” according to Program Board Chairman Jay Kaplan.

The board enlisted the production services of EventTech. Included was a request for 4 blinder lights, comprised of CHAUVET COLORado™ 3 LED units.  OK Go Lighting Designer Michelle Sarrat was pleased with the performance of the COLORado™ 3s, remarking, “how bright they were.”

The 12 COLORado™ 3’s were arranged into four vertical stacks and mounted to the front of the stage, providing crowd lighting and effect during the headlining act, welcoming students on the urban campus back to school in style.
