Chauvet Announces Staff Changes

Dwight-Slamp SUNRISE, Fla. – CHAUVET, a leading manufacturer of professional lighting, announces the recent appointment of Dwight Slamp as business development manager focused on production and contractor markets.

Slamp brings over a decade of industry experience to his new role. His early days as a musician piqued his interest in lighting which ignited his passion and desire to learn everything about lighting fixtures and design. The Texas-born Slamp’s next move was to work hands-on with fixtures “doing setups, programming and building relationships” throughout Texas, Arkansas and Louisiana.

By the end of 2006, Slamp set his sights towards working for a manufacturer and headed to LDI determined to make an impression. CHAUVET hired Slamp soon after. Slamp quickly advanced in his role as business development manager, concentrating on the southeast territory of the United States. And now, Slamp is concentrating his efforts towards the production, touring and contract markets of the lighting industry.

Bob-Laino-web CHAUVET welcomes the return of Bob Laino in the role of southeast territory manager, filling the position vacated by Slamp. Laino previously worked for CHAUVET as national sales manager and has a diverse background of experience from which to draw from—most notably international sales manager for Gemini Sound Products.

“We’re thrilled to have passionate and enthusiastic people at the core of our sales team,” said Jamey Brock, director of sales for CHAUVET. “Our current growth is fully supported by our strength in our products, our innovation and our people.”[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
