120-year Anniversary Celebration
More than 400 Ilumipod 48 IP RGBW wash lights have been installed on the tower to exclusively perform newly unveiled dynamic lighting shows, the culmination of the monument’s 120-year anniversary celebration. Relying for the first time on state-of-the-art LED technology, the Trocadero façade of the tower lights up in color, movement and modulation offering a magical and multi-facetted shower of light, revolving from level to level… “a splendid tribute to the Eiffel Tower and its majestic structure,” according to a statement by SETE, the operating company of the Eiffel Tower.

Agua Luces
Iluminarc exterior lighting solutions permanently light five landmark bridges over downtown Tampa’s Hillsborough River. The project entitled “Agua Luces”, or “Water Lights”, is part of the Lights On Tampa arts initiative, a joint public and private partnership between the City of Tampa Art Programs Division and Friends of Tampa Public Art. “The incorporation of LED light into the landscape of downtown Tampa was a cost-saving decision, as well as an aesthetic one,” said Robin Nigh, manager for City of Tampa Art Programs Division.

Resembling an aircraft wing, the impressive gantry and pylon toll structure spans ten lanes of one of the busiest sections of the MDX system, the 15.4-mile State Route 836, referred to by locals as the “Dolphin Expressway.” Adding to this uplifting feeling is the crisp, richly colored light that shines through the winged toll structure. This light is created by 120 of Iluminarc’s Ilumiline 36 IP linear LED fixtures and 12 of the company’s Ilumipod 42 IP LED pods.
Seminole Paradise
Hard Rock Café Hollywood, FL
Over 400 ILUMINARC architectural wash lights illuminate the grounds of Seminole Paradise which encompasses a bevy of restaurants, boutiques and stores. All of which surround Seminole Hard Rock Casino and Hotel, the casino’s Hard Rock Café Hollywood, FL and the live entertainment venue, Hard Rock Live. Specified by Audio Systems Consulting of Miami, Fla., the ILUMINARC exterior lighting solutions replaced fixtures that were not holding up to the harsh South Florida environments

Stands Out
International advertising company Zimmerman Advertising is no stranger to making bold moves. Zimmerman has applied its bold marketing strategy to its own home office, by creating an eye-popping three-story image on the building’s façade. Standing out against the night sky for all to see, this icon is a bright red reproduction of the Zimmerman ‘Z’ made all the more impressive by the intense light from a single Iluminarc Ilumipanel 180 LED fixture.

Centennial of City
Iluminarc luminaires have been selected to light two pavilions created by renowned architects Zaha Hadid and Ben Van Berkel in Chicago’s Millennium Park. Lighting Designer Tracey Dear, owner of Dear Productions specified 54 Ilumipod 36 IP Optic RGB units and 21 compact Ilumipod 18 units for the project. Until Dear heard about the Ilumipod 36 IP, he said he planned to use another fixture that was more expensive. “There’s tremendous affordability here,” he said. “Since we worked hard to raise the funds, the budget was a huge concern. We wouldn’t have been able to pull it off without Iluminarc products.” The Burnham Plan Centennial Committee raised $1 million to construct both pavilions.

The second of two pavilions honoring the centennial observation of the first city master plan by architect and planner Daniel H. Burnham opened in Millennium Park. Lighting Designer Tracey Dear, owner of Dear Productions specified 54 Ilumipod 36 IP Optic RGB units and 21 compact Ilumipod 18 units for the project. The same LED fixtures – Ilumipod 18 and Ilumipod 36 IP Optic RGB lights – were used to light both structures but the effects they created were completely different.

Creative Lighting Elements
The multi-level parking structure for the new Hyatt Place Bayamón and El Tropical Casino has been a labor of innovation and love, succesfully incoporating indigenous art with a synchronized show and creative lighting elements. At night, the building structure becomes a canvas drenched in light, also lit by 25 ILUMINARC Ilumipanel 40 IP fixtures, used for their rendition of saturated color and capabilities to function in humid or harsh weather conditions.
